Jesús María Fernández
Founder and CEO
He holds a degree in Medicine from the University of Navarra and a Master of Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh. Additionally, he has completed a PDG in Business Management from IESE, a Senior Management Program from the King’s Fund – E. Nacional de Sanidad, and a Diploma in Biostatistics from the University of Barcelona.
In 2014, he was honored with the HIMSS Europe eHealth Leadership Award.
Throughout his distinguished career, he has served as Co-founder and Director of B&F Gestión y Salud, Senior Health Specialist at the World Bank, International Executive Director of Health and Life Sciences IBU at Oracle, Deputy Minister of Health in the Basque Government, Senior Honorary Fellow at the Centre for Health Management at the University of Manchester, Collaborating Professor of Health Systems at ESADE Business School, and Deputy and spokesperson for Health in the Spanish Congress of Deputies.
Esteban Lifschitz
Scientific Director
He holds a degree in Medicine from the University of Buenos Aires and a Master’s degree in Management and Administration of Health Systems and Services from Favaloro University (Argentina).
During the last years, he has been Director of the Career of Medical Specialist in Health Technology Assessment at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Buenos Aires, Medical Director and Advisor to the Presidency of Social Works (Social Security) in Argentina, Consultant specialist in Drug Evaluation and Pharmacoeconomics and national and international Consultant in Health Management and Health Policies.
Mª Teresa Jiménez Herradón
Director of public affairs, communication and marketing.
With a degree in Documentation from the Carlos III University of Madrid, her professional career has always been developed in the field of corporate communication. With more than 15 years of experience in communication and digital marketing. She has worked for leading companies such as Telefónica and Fundación Bankinter. Her expertise lies in driving corporate performance based on communication management, brand and reputation management, with a strong focus on content management and dissemination, achieving increased impact with sustainable results.
Shabs Rajasekharan
Chief Technology and Innovation Officer
He holds a BSc and a PhD in Cybernetics and Control Engineering from the University of Reading.
He has served as Director and Co-founder of Smarter Futures EEIG, Director of e-Health & Biomedical Applications at Vicomtech, Founder and Director of Healthcare Strategy Consultancy Ltd UK, Business Consultant at Newchurch Ltd UK, and Data Scientist at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
María Errea
HEOR Consultant
She holds a degree and PhD in Economics from the Public University of Navarra. She completed her postdoctoral studies at the University of Massachusetts.
Her main lines of research are applied econometrics, quantitative and qualitative methods in Health Economics. She has worked at the Office of Health Economics in London, UK, and as an associate professor at the Public University of Navarra. Her research has focused on living blood and organ donation, rare diseases, chronic diseases, and measurement of patients’ health-related quality of life.
Juan Luis Cruz Bermúdez
(Collaborator) – Bioengineering and telecommunications. Polytechnic University of Madrid.
He holds a PhD in Software, Systems and Computing (thesis on oncological clinical data analysis) from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. He also holds a degree in Quantitative Methods in Clinical & Public Health Research from the Harvard School of Public Health and a Senior Health Management Program from the IESE Business School.
In recent years, he has worked as Director of Information Systems and Head of Cybersecurity at the Hospital Universitario Puerta de Hierro and Manager at Everis.
